Joy Stevens and Monica Watson have done an impressive job of turning the perennially challenged loft building at 17 W. Ferry St. into a more cohesive version of its legion predecessors.

At the recently opened Curious Goods, the look is “upcycled, vintage, funky, repurposed,” according to co-owner Stevens. Indeed, this vintage store shows flashes of New York City irony and sophistication.

The overall effect complements the structure’s natural charm and Ingham Creek views. Worth a look.
