Dozens of furry, four-legged locals are about to bask in their 12 months of fame by being featured in the 2016 Dog Days of Lambertville calendar now available for sale on both sides of the Delaware River.

The 11th edition of the calendar features more than 60 pups — many who have seen hard times before arriving safely in one of the most dog-friendly places on the planet.

Priced at $10 each, calendars can be purchased in Lambertville at Rojo’s, Sojourner, Tirpok Cleaners, Blue Raccoon, Lambertville Animal Hospital, Homestead Farm Market, City Market, Tesoro, Thai Tida, River Queen Artisans Gallery, Stoneking Wellness Center; and in New Hope at New Hope Pet Center. They also can be purchased online for $10 plus shipping and handling at www.lambertvilledogs.com.

Net proceeds from calendar sales will be donated to the following local animal charities: Spice’s Fund, Animal Alliance, Make Peace with Animals, and Lambertville Animal Welfare.
