New Hope police blotter: drunkenness, keying, man charged in 2012 burglary

The New Hope Police blotter is prepared using info from the NHPD. Names have been omitted to avoid embarrassing the luckless individuals who should be considered innocent until proven otherwise:

August 12, 2013 –  At 7:51 a.m. a New Hope resident reported to police that, at some time the previous day, someone had keyed and dented her vehicle while the vehicle had been parked on South Main Street.

August 16, 2013 –  Police have charged a man, 20, 0f Skillman, New Jersey, with Burglary, Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, and Criminal Trespass, in connection with a burglary which occurred at a West Bridge Street business in October of 2012.  He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Maggie Snow, and was released on bail.

August 18, 2013 –  At 1:37 a.m. Police arrested a woman, 43, of Newtown, Pennsylvania, for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, after she was observed operating her vehicle in an unlawful manner on South Main Street.

August 21, 2013 –  At 10:45 a.m. the owner of a South Main Street business reported to police that, at some time during the previous three days, someone had removed two full five gallon cans of gasoline from behind his store.

August 23, 2013 –  At 10:32 p.m. Police cited a woman, 47, of Newtown, Pennsylvania, for Public Drunkenness, after she was found to be in an intoxicated state in a South Main Street parking lot.

August 24, 2013 –  At 2:05 a.m. Police cited a man, 29, of Clinton, New Jersey, another dude, 26, of Lambertville, New Jersey, and a third dude, 24, of Trenton, New Jersey, for Disorderly Conduct, after the three were involved in a disturbance on South Main Street.

August 24, 2013 –  At 6:45 p.m. a Lambertville, New Jersey woman reported to police that her daughter’s cell phone and a ATM card had been stolen from the daughter’s place of employment, while she had been at work at a West Bridge Street establishment.
