New Hope Borough and the City of Lambertville celebrated the Independence Day weekend with fun, fireworks, and flare.
More than 10,000 people came to the riverfront communities to see the Friday night drone and fireworks show to mark the nation’s 250th birthday.
The rest of the weekend included history, businesses offering specials, live music, the Dragon Boat Race America vs. Great Britain, and Sunday’s Freedom Parade.
The three-day New Hope-Lambertville America 250 Festival was put on by the Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce and America Celebrates Inc.
New Hope and Lambertville played important roles in the American Revolution.
