Stoney Hill and Sugan roads are scheduled to close between Aquetong Road and Route 179 (West Bridge Street) in Solebury Township and New Hope from Monday, Aug. 27 to Friday, Sept. 7, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., for base repair, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Wednesday.
During the weekday closure, Stoney Hill Road/Sugan Road motorists will be detoured over U.S. 202 (Lower York Road), Route 179 (Bridge Street) and Aquetong Road.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone, and the schedule is weather dependent, according to PennDOT, who advise drivers to allow extra time when traveling near the work area.
