New Hope’s landmark Mansion Inn is back and sporting some of its old style. Rainbow flags and baskets of colorful flowers abound as the historic inn joins in the spirit of Pride Week and spring.

New owner Martin Doyle was beaming with excitement Tuesday as he ordered about a squad of staff busily polishing bars, moving decorations, and generally sprucing up. Rooms appeared clean and tasteful, and the kitchen is up and running, and cranking out a pre-theater dinner special seven days per week ($24 for three courses, 4-6 p.m.).

Doyle says the Mansion’s kitchen will be expanding service to lunch and beyond shortly. The Mansion Inn is located at 9 S. Main St.; (215) 693-1800.
