Seven lucky New Hope-Solebury graduating seniors were recently rewarded for their academic excellence with checks for $1,000 each to use toward college.
New Hope-Solebury Community Association Vice President Carl Glassman presented the 2019 scholarships to the erstwhile students during the Senior Award ceremony held at New Hope-Solebury High School.
Funds for the scholarships were raised through the 2018 New Hope Automobile Show. This year’s edition of the event returns to its original two-day format on Saturday, Aug. 10, and Sunday, Aug. 11.
Two related events are scheduled for the coming weeks: The Tenth Annual New Hope Automobile Show Road Rally on Sunday, July 28, and the Cars & Coffee meet-up on Sunday, Aug. 4.
