Singing Air Force Cadet from Lambertville Competes on ‘America’s Got Talent’ Tuesday Night

The United States Air Force Academy’s premier a cappella group “In the Stairwell” will be competing in the semifinals of “America’s Got Talent” on Tuesday at 9 p.m., and Lambertville’s got skin in the game.

Group member Jared Bogdan, 21, hails from Lambertville, and graduated from South Hunterdon Regional High School. In fact, his mom and dad still live in Lambertville, as do many of his relatives.

Cadet 1st Class Jared Bogdan will get commissioned as a Lieutenant and assigned to his first duty station after he graduates.

In the Stairwell was formed in 2004 by a group of freshmen at the U.S. Air Force Academy who—due to the discipline and rigors of their “doolie” year—sang together in the only place they could, “in the stairwell.”

The best part is you can vote for Bogdan and In the Stairwell Tuesday night at 9 p.m. on America’s Got Talent (AGT) — using the AGT application, at NBC.com, or AGT on Facebook, or by calling the phone number displayed on screen during broadcast.

Break a leg, guys!
