Lobster Tuesdays at Pineville Tavern Extended through Winter

Summer may be over, but don’t get steamed — the Pineville Tavern’s special Tuesday “lobster nights” will rock on, according to Chef Drew Abruzzese.

In fact, he’s added four epic crustacean specials to the menu —  Crispy Golden Fried Lobster Tails with cole slaw and shoestring fries; a decadent Lobster Mac and Cheese; Lobster Thermidor; and Lobster Fra Diavolo. All entrees are served with a choice of a soup or a salad for only $25, according to management.

“Our weekly Lobster night became one of the busiest features at the Pineville Tavern,” said Abruzzese. “I’ve been obsessing about how to extend it past Labor Day to continue to offer what our customers love.”

He decided to swap out his Lobster Risotto for an ultra-decadent Lobster Mac & Cheese, and sourced some delectable lobster tails from South Africa for his Golden Fried Lobster Tails.

“They are actually fried in the pressure fryer — the same one that we cook our delicious Fried Chicken in — and you can almost taste the Fried Chicken in the tails,” Abruzzese explained. The tails are paired with drawn butter, Jalapeno Remoulade, and cocktail sauce, and served atop a mound of French fries.

The Pineville Tavern’s lobster special is offered every Tuesday night from 4 to 10 p.m. The tavern is located at 1089 Durham Road in Pineville;(215) 598-3890. And don’t be shellfish — bring a friend.
