Lambertville police blotter: resident chases Washington Crossing man with bat

CASE #14001282: On Friday, March 7, 2014 at 11:59 a.m., Det. Michael Miloszar and Ptl. Vincent Albani were detailed to Belvidere Avenue for a report of a male being chased with a bat. Investigation revealed Craig S. Drummond, age 51, of Lambertville, N.J. was chasing Charles Ramsin, age 43, of Washington Crossing, P.A. Drummond was charged with Criminal Mischief for breaking a mirror and tail light on Ramsin’s vehicle. Drummond was also charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon. Bail was set by Lambertville Municipal Court Judge Ronald Pittore at $25,000 full. Drummond was lodged in the Hunterdon County Jail in default of bail.

CASE #14001329: On Sunday, March 9, 2014 at 3:57 a.m., Sg. Robert Brown stopped Christopher Neppes, age 38, of Pipersville P.A. on State Highway 29 for speeding. Neppes was subsequently arrested and charged with DWI, speeding, and careless driving. Neppes was released pending a court appearance.
