Six Solebury School seniors win awards for excellence in academics and arts

Solebury Founders Awards

Solebury School’s Founders Award winners display certificates: (seated, from left) Clover Stieve of Flemington, NJ, Matthew Keefe of Doylestown, Alex Leone of Ewing, NJ, and Eli Sadoff of Richboro; (standing, from left) Solebury Trustee Dan Cohen, Claire Le Gall of Doylestown, Sophia Bridgers of Solebury, and Solebury School Trustee Andrée Falco.

Six seniors at the prestigious Solebury School are recognized each winter by faculty who present them with a Founder’s Academic Award in four academic areas where they excel. Two additional awards are given in the areas of visual arts and performing arts.

Students each receive a certificate and $250 to purchase items for the relevant academic department. Their names are added to permanent plaques in the Boyd Dining Hall and in the Theater.

The awards honor the four founders and their disciplines, and help students, faculty and alumni to directly shape and insure a sound educational foundation for Solebury School. Department heads nominate students to be selected by the faculty.
