New Hope police blotter for early June (updated)

police blotterThe following were compiled from police reports (names omitted):
June 3, 2013 –  A New Hope woman reported to police that an unknown subject had obtained her personal information, and had used it to obtain a credit card, on which in excess of $4,500.00 in fraudulent purchases were made.
June 8, 2013 –  At 12:05 p.m. a resident of Village 2 reported to police that, three days prior, someone had removed a Fed Ex package, containing various items with a total value of $135.00, from in front of her residence.
June 14, 2013 –  At 2:10 a.m. Police cited a woman, 29, and a man, 30, both of New Hope, for Public Drunkenness, after the two were found to be in an intoxicated state in the area of Bridge and Main Streets.
June 14, 2013 –  At 6:30 p.m. the manager of a West Bridge Street establishment reported to police that a theft of approximately $90.00 worth of electronic equipment had just occurred, and that one juvenile suspect was being detained at the store, but that two others had fled the scene.  Shortly afterwards police located and detained the two other juvenile suspects.  The investigation into the incident is continuing.
June 18, 2013 –  A New Hope woman reported to police that someone had used her credit card number to make in excess of $1,000.00 in unauthorized purchases.  The victim advised police that she is in possession of the card, but that she had used the card number on an internet site.
