Kevin and Sherri Daugherty have begun renovations to their historic 6 E. Mechanic St. property. Initial activities include demolition of a portico, and installation of a new front door, roof and windows.
While Kevin Daugherty said recently that he had not yet decided on the structure’s ultimate purpose, contractors were recently sizing up the property’s spectacular rear yard, with frontage on the Aquetong Creek and Delaware River…and a stone’s throw away from the Bucks County Playhouse, recently resuscitated by the Daughertys and their Bridge Street Foundation.
