After several days of rain, the area will see some sunshine in the coming days.

Between Tuesday and Thursday, the area reported more than 3 inches of rain, which caused stream and low-lying area flooding.

The storm caused a number of road closures in Solebury Township, including Redder Road, River Road, Cuttaloosa Road, Paxson Road, and others. By Thursday afternoon, all the roads were reopened.

“Thank you to our hard-working Public Works, who worked tirelessly throughout the afternoon and evening to keep the roads safe for us all. When you see one of our guys, make sure to tell them ‘Thank You,'” the township said in a Facebook post.

Nearby, downs trees, wires, and flooding caused River Road, Lurgan Road, and others in Upper Makefield Township to close.
