City Of Lambertville Staff Warns Of Suspicious-Looking Messages

City officials in Lambertville have been cautioned against opening or clicking on attachments and links within suspicious emails falsely labeled as “Special Report” from the city, officials announced Friday.

No official “Special Report” emails have been distributed, and any such messages should be considered potentially dangerous, officials said.

Residents who receive such fraudulent emails are urged to forward the message to deputyclerk@lambertvillenj.org to alert the authorities and prevent further spread.

City officials have not specified how many residents received the emails or if any data breaches occurred.
