More Than $1,000 Of Hair Products Stolen From West Bridge Street Market

Three suspects are being sought by the New Hope Borough Police Department after they allegedly stole over $1,000 worth of hair products.

The incident occurred Saturday, July 26 around 8:40 p.m. at a shop in the 300 block of West Bridge Street, police said.

While police didn’t name the business, information obtained by NewHopeFreePress.com indicated the retail theft occurred at the McCaffery’s Food Market in New Hope Borough.

According to police, the suspects took hair products valued at $1,151.64 from the business without paying the full retail value.

Witnesses saw the suspects fleeing the scene in a dark-colored Mazda SUV with Pennsylvania registration plates. The vehicle was last observed heading west on West Bridge Street, police said.

Earlier that day, Newtown Township police reported a similar theft of 37 bottles of Olepex leave-in hair conditioner, valued at $1,220. The same suspects are believed to be responsible for both incidents, police said.
