Some Hollywood A-listers are in Hunterdon County filming a new movie for streaming service Apple+.

The movie named “Echo Valley,” which goes by the production title “Wildvale,” has been filming across Hunterdon County since late May.

The production was in the City of Lambertville last week.

New Hope Free Press readers reported seeing production activity on North Union Street and crew at Union Coffee. Trucks associated with production were spotted on North Union and Coryell streets.

Lambertville Life reported that production set for last Thursday was scrapped.

A picketer taking part in the ongoing Writers Guild strike was near the shooting location.

According to the New Jersey Motion Picture and Television Commission, shooting is expected to continue through June.

Oscar winner Julianne Moore, Emmy-nominated actress Sydney Sweeney, and Golden Globe nominee Domhnall Gleeson are starring in the movie from Brad Ingelsby, who helmed the hit HBO series “Mare of Easttown.”

Hollywood publication Deadline describes the premise of the film: “The pic will star Moore as ‘Kate Garrett,’ who is reeling from a personal tragedy and spends her days boarding and training horses at Echo Valley Farm, twenty-two secluded, picturesque acres in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Late one night, her wayward daughter, ‘Claire’ (played by Sweeney), arrives at her doorstep, frightened, trembling, and covered in someone else’s blood. From that simple premise, Echo Valley becomes a heart-pounding thriller about just how far a mother will go to save her child.”
