Forecasters from the National Weather Service are calling for sun throughout the week and comfortable temperatures. There are a few chances for much-needed showers.

Below is the forecast for the week:

Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 79. North wind 10 to 15 mph.
Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 56. Northwest wind around 5 mph.

Tuesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. West wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Tuesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 54. Northwest wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Wednesday: A slight chance of showers after 2pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 78. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 53.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 78.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 52.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 75.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 54.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 82.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 60.
