Thousands upon thousands of people filled the City of Lambertville Saturday and Sunday for the Lambertville Chamber of Commerce’s popular Shad Fest.

There was live music, food and drink specials, art, crafts, games, and demonstrations at the event.

Steve Meserve, who runs the Lewis Fishery, the last commercial shad operation along the Delaware River, offered demonstrations.

This year’s Shad Fest marked the festival’s 40th birthday.
