73-Year-Old Solebury Woman Killed In Crash

On Thursday afternoon, authorities identified the person killed in a single-vehicle crash on Greenhill Road in Solebury Township the prior evening.

Cory H. Schroeder, 73, of Solebury Township died at the scene from injuries sustained in the wreck, township police said.

The passenger – a 79-year-old man from Solebury Township – suffered injuries and was transported by Central Bucks EMS to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township for treatment, police said.

Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck said Schroeder suffered a medical emergency just prior to the crash in the 6200 block of Greenhill Road between Aquetong Road and Mechanicsville Road shortly after 6:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Schroeder and her male passenger were trapped in the Volkswagen SUV that overturned in the crash.

Arriving police, firefighters, and medics, extricated the injured man and Schroeder was determined to be deceased.

In addition to Solebury Township police and Central Bucks EMS, the Midway Fire Company and Bucks County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene.

Police said they are still seeking anyone who may have witnessed the crash. Anyone with information has been asked to contact Cpl. Daniel  Marascio at 215-297-8201 ext. 124.
