One Dead, One Hurt In Solebury Crash

Arriving officers reported finding a vehicle overturned in the roadway and the driver and passenger trapped inside, police said.

UPDATE: 73-Year-Old Solebury Woman Killed In Crash

One person was killed and another was rushed to a local hospital after a crash in Solebury Township Wednesday evening.

Police were dispatched to the 6200 block of Greenhill Road between Aquetong Road and Mechanicsville Road shortly after 6:15 p.m. for a crash.

Arriving officers reported finding a vehicle overturned in the roadway with the driver and passenger trapped inside, police said.

The Midway Fire Company and Central Bucks EMS responded and were able to extricate the injured passenger from the vehicle, police said.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The injured passenger was rushed by Central Bucks EMS to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township.

At the scene, the Bucks County Coroner’s Office removed the deceased person from the vehicle and left the scene around 7:45 p.m.

The investigation was ongoing as of 8 p.m., and Greenhill Road was expected to remain closed to traffic for several hours.
