Car Stolen from Kiltie Drive in New Hope

A 2015 Kia Forte

Another car has been stolen from a neighborhood driveway in New Hope, police said Tuesday.

A silver 2015 Kia Forte was taken from 63 Kiltie Drive on Tuesday between 4:30 and 6:30 a.m.

The theft is the third reported from a borough driveway since July 7. Keys had been left in the car in each occurrence.

And a blue 2017 Nissan Rogue was stolen from a driveway at 80 N. Main St. during approximately the same hours during the weekend of July 7-8.

New Hope police ask that anyone who may have observed anything suspicious, or knows the whereabouts of the vehicle or identity those involved, please contact them immediately at (215) 862-3033 or (215) 348-7400.

New Hope is typically a small, safe town, which might lull people into complacency. These days, you can’t assume that it’s OK to leave your keys in your car – ever.

Hope they find the thieves SOON.

I left a rake on my front lawn and now it’s gone. Could you please put this on the front page? I love that rake and would like the police to waste their valuable time looking for it.

And a Buick Encore was stolen from a driveway on N. Main Street. Quite the list there, New Hope.
