Lambertville and New Hope police blotters: DUIs, underage drinking, phone harassment

Lambertville Police Department

Case #15008333:

William M. Wojciechowski, 24, of Pennington, NJ, was arrested on Nov. 11 at 12:25 a.m. for DUI and other charges.

While on routine patrol, Lt. Brown observed Wojciechowski’s vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on the Lambertville-New Hope Free Bridge without its headlights on. Lt. Brown stopped Wojciechowski in the area of Bridge Street and North Main Street.

Subsequent to investigation, Wojciechowski was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Wojciechowski was also found to have an ACS warrant issued from the Atlantic City Municipal Court in the amount of $1,500 and an active ATS warrant issued from the Princeton Township Municipal Court in the amount of $114. Wojciechowski was placed under arrest and processed for the DUI and warrants. Wojciechowski was able to post bail on the Princeton Township warrant and was released on his own recognizance on the Atlantic City warrant. He was charged with DUI, refusal, lamps required, and careless driving. Wojciechowski was released with a pending court date.

Case #15008187:

Lauren N. Russo, 23, of Newtown was arrested on Nov. 18, at 1:43 a.m. for DUI.

While on routine patrol, Ptl. Gramlich observed Russo’s vehicle driving erratically in the area of State Highway 29 and Coryell Street. Ptl. Gramlich stopped Russo in the area of State Highway 29 and the Lambertville Police Headquarters. Subsequent to investigation, Russo was found to be under the influence of alcohol. She was placed under arrested and processed for the DUI. Russo was charged with DUI, speeding and careless driving. Russo was later released with a pending court date.

Case #15008407:

Janice M. Ramos, 49, of New Hope, was arrested on Nov. 22 at 9 a.m. for an active warrant.

While on routine patrol, Ptl. Pascoe conducted a random plate inquiry of Ramos’ vehicle. The lookup revealed that Ramos had an expired license, and an active ATS warrant issued from the Lambertville Municipal Court in the amount of $750. Ramos was placed under arrest and processed for the warrant. Ramos was able to post bail and released with a pending court date.

Case #15008514:

Christoph P. Cook, 32, of Trenton, was arrested on Nov. 26, at 2:23 a.m. for DUI.

While on routine patrol, Ptl. Bast observed Cook’s vehicle conduct a right hand turn onto South Union Street without signaling the turn, and driving erratically. Ptl. Bast stopped Cook in the area of State Highway 29 just south of Weeden Street.  Subsequent to investigation, Cook was found to be under the influence of alcohol and placed under arrest.  Cook was charged with DUI, reckless driving, failure to stop, and failure to signal turn. Cook was later released with a pending court date.

New Hope Police Department

Oct. 30, 2015 –  At 11:34 p.m., police cited Victoria Dyer, 20, of New Hope, for underage drinking, after she was found laying on a bench outside a West Mechanic Street restaurant.

Nov. 2, 2015 –  Police charged Richard Burroughs, 49, of Lambertville, with harassment by communication, after he allegedly made repeated anonymous phone calls to a New Hope resident on Oct. 22 and 23, 2015.
