Solebury Township Police say that Damien DeRose, 27, of Doylestown, PA has been charged with Burglary, Theft, Receiving Stolen Property and other crimes in connection with a residential burglary that occurred on the 3000 block of Windy Bush Road in early August of this year. DeRose is currently being held in Duke County House of Corrections in Edgartown, MA on related charges.

And several Morrisville residents urged tougher police action at a Borough Council meeting there this week after a second alleged child abduction attempt was reported. In an incident last week, a boy was allegedly lured by two men in a van, but ran away unharmed. In August, an eight-year-old girl bit a would-be abductor on the hand and escaped unharmed after she was grabbed from her backyard and dragged toward a car, say police.
