New Hope man wanted by Plumstead Police for alleged $200,000 theft

The Plumstead Township Police department announced today that they have obtained an arrest warrant for Lawrence Eli Marvin, 56, last known to be living in New Hope.

Marvin is wanted for allegedly stealing approximately $217,000 worth of property from an acquaintance who had items stored at the 611 Bypass Self Storage Facility at 961 N. Easton Road in Plumstead Township. Marvin purportedly stole the property some time during the month of June.

He had been living in an apartment in New Hope and working as a cook at a local restaurant, and might currently be staying somewhere in New Jersey, say authorities. Marvin is described as a white male, approximately 5’9”, weighing 160 pounds, with white/blond hair and a mustache.  

Police officials have asked that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Lawrence Marvin contact the Plumstead Township Police Department at (215) 766-8741.
