Gallery Piquel is currently showcasing works in wood by artist Dan Strothers.
Strothers was trained as an engineer, but began designing and building custom furniture. His creations evolved into a unique style of art which involves meticulously inlaid pieces of wood with carefully added pigment and a palpable polymer resin finish.
The finished pieces are vibrant and eye-catching, often presented in triptych format.
