Nearly everyone in the region faces the challenge of creating and maintaining a beautiful garden only to

have it demolished by deer. Join us for a discussion of latest research, deer biology, ‘resistant’ plants and

landscaping techniques that may result in gardening successfully with deer. Kathy Salisbury is an

experienced and award winning horticulture educator for the Penn State Extension in Bucks County. She

previously worked at the New York Botanical Garden and is co-owner of DeVosBury Designs, an

ecological design and horticulture consulting firm.

This program is the sixth installment of the Preserve’s Winter Lecture Series. The program will take place

on Sunday, February 14, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. The fee for Preserve Members is $8 per lecture. The fee

for non-members is $12 per lecture. Seating for all lectures is general admission; arrive early to get the

seat of your choice. Advance registration is strongly encouraged. Walk-ins welcomed only if space

permits. Most popular topics will sell out.  Call (215)862-2924 to register.
