The Steamboat Era left an indelible impression upon the history of our nation with the boats that plied both the Mississippi and Hudson Rivers each developing their own unique style and personality.Presented from a historic and nostalgic perspective with new images drawn from a collection of thousands this program pays homage to a way of life which has virtually disappeared today.
