“The Magic of Lambertville’s Music Mountain” will be shown at Lambertville Historical Society’s Annual Meeting on Sunday, Jan. 15.  It’s free, and open to the public.

Lambertville Historical Society (LHS) member Gary P. Cohen will introduce his documentary on Music Mountain following a short LHS business meeting. Lambertville resident Cohen also serves as producing director of Middlesex County’s esteemed summer theater “Plays-in-the-Park.”

magic-insideAs a documentary filmmaker, Cohen created “Halloweenville,” a depiction of how Lambertville celebrates the holiday, and “Magic on Music Mountain,” the story of the Lambertville Music Circus. Gary has also written the book and lyrics for four produced children’s musicals (one with Lambertville folkie John Sebastian), and an Off-Broadway musical adaptation of “Frankenstein.”

Lambertville Historical Society will present “The Magic of Lambertville’s Music Mountain” on Sunday, Jan. 15, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., at the Phillip L. Pittore Justice Center, 25 S. Union St., in Lambertville. Call (609) 397-0770 for more info.
