Join us to learn how to understand and respond to bullying from a Bullying Prevention Coordinator, Kathia Monard-Weisman. Light Refreshments Provided.

Kathia Monard-Weissman serves as Peace Educator and Bullying Prevention Coordinator at The Peace Center. She holds a Ph.D. in International and Development Education from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Education. She has experience facilitating bullying prevention programs and diversity workshops. Prior to her work at The Peace Center, she was an educational and evaluation consultant and researched the impact of educational programs on students’ character and resiliency. Her work has been published in journals including Academic Exchange Quarterly and The Journal of Higher Education Outreach and Engagement. In Ecuador, her country of origin, she taught at higher educational institutions and directed service-learning programs.
