On Sunday, May 18, Solebury School will host the 2nd annual TEDxSoleburySchool event from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  We have invited an impressive line-up of high school and college students and adults to present “ideas worth sharing” on a wide range of topics including,  L.O.V.E. (Listen, be Open, and Value Everyone), An Anti-Bullying Campaign, The Power & Possibilities of Digital Storytelling, Tolerating Ambiguity: Being OK With Not Knowing!, Difficulty into Success: The Story of Young Entrepreneurs, and more.

Among those presenters will be Solebury School Teach2Serve students Stasia Babicki of Titusville, NJ, Michaela Finley of Hopewell, NJ, Hadiyyah Graves of Irvington, NJ and Tavorsia Talley of Vallejo, CA.  Teach2Serve is a two year program that equips high school students with an effective set of leadership and social entrepreneurial skills to potentially start and operate a not-for-profit business.

For more information about the presenters and performers or to register to attend, go to the TEDxSoleburySchool button on the Solebury School webpage. The event is limited to 100 attendees, so don’t wait too long to register. If you have any questions or if you’d like to be a presenter, please contact event organizers Diane Downs at ddowns@solebury.org or Nicole Mount at nmount@solebury.org.  You can call Diane or Nicole at (215) 862-5261.
