The Riverside Symphonia opens its 25th Anniversary Season with a magnificent orchestral concert, Souvenirs. Music has a one-of-a-kind ability to bring back special memories.
Tchaikovsky created a connection with his beloved Italy by composing Souvenir de Florence. William Bolcom celebrated the musical traditions of the South with his Two Ragtimes. Chopin, the master of poetic nostalgia, built a spiritual bridge to his homeland through his Piano Concerto No. 2 in F-minor, op 21.
We invite you to celebrate the season by joining us for a memorable musical experience of your own. Featuring guest pianist, Tanya Bannister with the Riverside Symphonia. Mariusz Smolij, conductor. Visit www.riversidesymphonia.org to order tickets. Adults $30; students $10
