Fall 2014:  Pre-school Explorers!

Bucks County Audubon Society will once again offer the popular pre-school explorers program for children ages 3 – 5 with a care giver.  Sessions are held Thursday afternoons 1:00 – 2:30pm and include an outdoor activity, story time and craft.  Fee:  BCAS Members $60, Non-members $90.  A minimum registration of eight (8) students must be reached for the program to be offered.  Registration will be capped at 12 participants so sign up early!  Registration required by September 12, 2014 at 215-297-5880.  Classes take place at the Honey Hollow Environmental Education Center located on the 110-acre preserve located at 2877 Creamery Road, Solebury, PA.

September 18 – Turtles!   These cool critters carry their homes with them.  Let’s find out what else makes them special

September 25 – Signs of Fall!  The new season is here!  We’ll learn all about fall and what happens in this season

October 2 – Spiders!  Eight legs and sticky webs…are these creatures our friends?

October 9 – Wild Weather!  What makes the wind, the clouds the rain?  We’ll learn about weather! 

October 16 – Woodpeckers!   These special birds help other animals too.  Let’s learn about them!

October 23 – Nature Senses!  We’ll use our senses to learn about the world around us (no tasting wild edibles)
