Bring your dog out for a beautiful walk on the Delaware and Raritan Canal in Lambertville on Saturday, October 29th, and support Lambertville Animal Welfare’s efforts to save homeless cats (and dogs!) from Lambertville and surrounding areas.  Lambertville Animal Hospital is sponsoring the first annual “Paws for Claws” dog walk which will begin at 10am at the Acme Parking Lot, 25 South Union Street in Lambertville.

The fun will proceed along the canal and conclude at the American Legion Field on North Union Street (a distance of approximately ¾ mile).  Vendors and complimentary refreshments will be available at the finish of the walk, and a pet photographer will be present to capture shots of you and your pooch.  If you don’t have a dog, you are still welcome to come out, walk and support a good cause.  Each participant will receive a free goodie bag.  Registration is $15 with a donation of cat food, or $20 without (kids under 12 free with an adult).

To register or for more information, email Pawsforclaws@yahoo.com, or call Lambertville Animal Welfare at 609-397-0461.  The rain date is Sunday, October 30th.
