Screen Arts East Hosts Filmmaking Open House

Jamison, PA – August 22, 2015 – The public is invited to attend the launch of the new filmmaking school, hosted at FocusMX, Jamison,  from 6:00pm – 7:00pm. Screen Arts East provides expert instruction by industry professionals in filmmaking to students at any level of experience through the disciplines directing, producing, acting, editing and screenwriting.

The Open House is a free walk-in event. Registration is recommended.

The brainchild of founders, award-winning director and producer Paul Gold and actor, director and creative writing consultant Jim Breckenridge; Screen Arts East also features classes taught by award-winning actor and casting director Mike Pepino, award-winning commercial, documentary and short film editor Lenny Friedman, and writer Dori Corr.

The school’s website at www.screenartseast.com will also provide a forum for anyone interested in movies and moviemaking to learn and discuss their passion for enjoying and creating film.

The inaugural starts “rolling” semester begins the week of September 14, 2015 and includes:

  • Film Lab I
  • Film Lab II
  • On-Camera Acting Technique
  • The Art of Editing and Post Production
  • Women in Film
