The New Hope Park and Recreation Board will present its fourth annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19 at 11 a.m. sharp, rain or shine. The egg hunt is open to children from two to ten years of age. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Once again the event will take place at the Rittenhouse Circle in the Borough’s Village 2 section.

Beth Hasher, chair of the New Hope Park and Recreation Board, said, “Each year the number of children attending has been increasing. Last year more than one hundred children and their parents attended.”
“We are grateful for the cooperation from the Board of Village 2 and Dan Peel from Community Management Services for hosting the egg hunt again this year,” Hatcher continued. “The New Hope Eagle Fire Company will send their fire police to help ensure the safety of the children.” she added.
To the delight of the children, eggs are carefully hidden among the shrubs and trees and scattered around Rittenhouse Circle, requiring the hunters to work diligently to find the eggs. Those fortunate to find the special colored eggs receive prizes ranging from soccer balls and toys to gift certificates.
Once again, the Easter Bunny will be on hand for the festivities.
