A section of River Road (Route 32) will close temporarily this week for utility improvements.
PennDOT officials said the closure will impact drivers in both Solebury Township and New Hope Borough.
The travel restriction is scheduled for Thursday, June 11, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
During the closure, River Road will be closed and detoured between Windy Bush Road (Route 232) and Aquetong Road.
PennDOT officials asked drivers to allow extra travel time when navigating the area, warning that backups and delays are possible.
The scheduled work is weather dependent.
PECO is completing the improvement project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
