Following their successful Pete Seeger-oriented musical session a few months ago, a number of area performers will be re-grouping at Carversville Christian Church for “Hootenanny Number Two” on Sunday afternoon, May 3 at 4:00 p.m. Singing and playing songs with a folk or folk-rock theme, local musicians Michael Orrell, Suzan Bartels, Elizabeth Bowman, Nancy Shill, Steve Feuerstein, and Rick Rosen will present individual sets, play and sing in a variety of combinations, and, in true hootenanny fashion, perform several songs designed to include full sing-along audience participation.

“Carversville Christian Church is a little-known jewel and a great place to make music,” notes New Hope-Solebury & Lambertville Community Choir director and hootenanny producer Rick Rosen. ” We’re hoping that the word will get out about this wonderful place as more and more people come to check out our hoots.”

Tickets for “Hootenanny Number Two” are $10 and will be available at the door. Ticket reservations can also be made by contacting NHSLCC at  650.219.2748 or online. Net proceeds benefit NHSLCC’s out reach program and a Carversville Christian Church-sponsored charity.

Carversville Christian Church is located at 3736 Aquetong Road in Carversville, PA.
