Over 50 species of beautiful butterflies can be seen at Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve. Learn about
the lifestyles of some of the common and uncommon species from Naturalist Mary Anne Borge,
including the ones that make their home here, and what makes this such a special place for butterflies.
Indoor presentation followed by an outdoor hunt to see how many butterflies we can find. Mary Anne
Borge is a naturalist, photographer, writer and educator. She is a certified Pennsylvania Master
Naturalist, a contributor to Butterfly Gardener magazine, and has been a volunteer at the Preserve for
more than 10 years. She shares her fascination with nature through her writing and photography on her
This program will take place on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. – noon at Bowman’s Hill
Wildflower Preserve. The fee for Preserve Members is $10. The fee for non-members is $12. Call to
