In a career spanning over four decades, actress/singer Andrea Marcovicci has laughed with Woody Allen, tussled with Sir Michael Caine, and smooched with Tom Selleck. She has also created over thirty cabaret shows, and she’s bringing what may well be her most popular to the Rrazz Room in New Hope on Oct. 25 and 26.

Dubbed I’ll Be Seeing You: The Love Songs Of WWll, Marcovicci takes the audience on a musical journey through an era when every song became irrevocably associated with the historic events occurring around the globe. The music represents many of America’s most prolific songwriters, including Hoagy Carmichael, Johnny Mercer, Jule Styne, and the many others responsible for hits like As Time Goes By, I’ll Be Seeing You, I‘ve Heard That Song Before, A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square, Sentimental Journey, We’ll Meet Again, The White Cliffs of Dover and Skylark.

Marcovicci, a native of New York City, dropped out of drama school to focus on singing, appearing on the Mike Douglas Show and the Merv Griffin Show. As an actress, she debuted in commercials, and soon became better known as Dr. Betsy Chernak Taylor on the TV soap Love is a Many Splendored Thing (1970-73).

Marcovicci is appearing at the Rrazz Room at 8 p.m. on Oct. 25, and at 5 p.m. on Oct. 26. Tickets are $40/$50.
