Join the Friends of the Free Library of New Hope and Solebury on January 11 from 2-4 p.m. to celebrate the new season of Downton Abbey with Afternoon Tea hosted by Holly Hedge Estates. Enjoy scones, savory tea sandwiches and sweets provided by Pudge Cakes, Duck Soup, and Friends’ chefs. Entertainment will be provided by Alisa Dupuy of the Ladies of History in her role as the Dowager Duchess, and costumes will be on display provided by Dominique Daniela.
Period costuming and/or hats are encouraged, but optional. Cryers Antiques and Collectibles at 20 South Main and Ginnie Burke Collections at 9 East Bridge Street in New Hope are offering discounts to Afternoon Tea attendees.
