AHTN is a 501(c)3 non-profit who has been serving the homeless and those in need since 2009. AHTN currently is staffed by 100% volunteers.

AHTN provides transportation and services to Lower Bucks Homeless for the following missions:

  • Code Blue Emergency Winter Shelter – last season, 2013-2014 AHTN served 1,966 homeless from December – March.  Our bus goes out two or three times to pick up our homeless friends at scheduled pick up locations.
  • Wheels to Meals provides year round transportation to 23 monthly host sites for a free shared community meal.  Sometimes this is the only meal our homeless residents will have the entire day.  Our bus needs to make two to three trips to pick up locations in order to get all those in need of a meal.
  • Rejuevenation Station –  AHTN provides transportation to a host site for free lunch, showers and haircuts
  • Total miles put on our short bus from July 1 through May 31st was 12,435 miles.  AHTN bus currently has over 200,000 miles.  The bus is used almost every day of the week year round.  Sometimes for several missions in one day.
