If a fox appears to you in the wild, or perhaps in a dream, you might heed it as a sign to stray. To open your ears to mischief’s rosy whisper, and run. In her mysterious collage of jangling cowgirl tunes and vivacious indie anthems, Abbie Morin has found a voice to answer the call.

With collaborator Thomas Pearo (electric guitar) at her side, Abbie Morin released the debut album Shadowproof (2015), further driving their momentum within the Burlington, Vermont music scene. The style they call foxy folk and their reputation for spirited, cathartic outpourings have garnered them a loyal following. Now the duo is venturing beyond their roots in the Green Mountains. They’ve freed themselves from their possessions, leases and wearisome titles of waiter and housekeeper to embark on what they’ve dubbed a “lifestyle tour” – a sweeping journey across the United States with no certain endpoint.

With Thomas in the driver’s seat of the Volvo wagon they consider home, and the acoustic she calls Gus in the trunk, Abbie Morin navigates fresh territory to resonate the magnetic song of the wandering fox.
