The City of Lambertville’s annual Memorial Day parade will march on Monday morning.

The parade is scheduled to step off at 9 a.m. from the intersection of North Union and Cherry streets, where the lineup will begin.

James Walker, a longtime Lambertville resident, local veteran, and historian, will serve as this year’s grand marshal.

The parade will head south on Union Street before turning onto Mount Hope Street. From there, the procession will move north on Main Street, turn onto York Street, and conclude at Mary Sheridan Park.

Those taking part in the annual event will include community organizations, bands, floats, decorated bicycles, and local students.

After the parade, city officials will hold a ceremony at Mary Sheridan Park on York Street to honor those who have served in the military.

The public is invited to attend an annual picnic at the American Legion 320 North Union Street immediately following the park ceremony.
