Local police and organizers of New Hope Celebrates are warning of traffic impacts on Saturday, May 16, for the annual Pride Parade.
The parade, which begins in the City of Lambertville at 11 a.m. and crosses into New Hope Borough, will require closures and parking bans in both municipalities.
Roads closed in Lambertville:
York Street – 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Jefferson Street – ย 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Coryell Street –ย 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
South Union Street (Bridge Street to Ferry Street) –ย 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Klines Court –ย 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Hendricks Street – 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Gordons Alleyย – 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Bridge Street (North Union Street to Lambert Lane/the bridge) 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
No parking on Bridge Street from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.ย
Church Street – 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Lambert Lane –ย 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Delavan Streetย – 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
George Street (from Church Street to Perry Street) – ย 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
North Union Street (from Bridge Street to Delaware Avenue)ย – 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Roads closed in New Hope:
Main Street (No parking from May 15 at midnight to May 16 at 1 p.m.) –ย 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Waterloo Street –ย 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Mechanic Street –ย 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
East Ferry Street –ย 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Bucks County Playhouse Lotย 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
After the parade, New Hope Celebrates Pride Fair will take place at the American Legion parking lot at the corner of New Street and South Main Street. There will be vendors and live entertainment from noon to 5 p.m.
The general public can view the parade anywhere along the route. Guest announcers will be located at staging locations at The Lambertville House, Ferry andย Main streets, and 97 South Main Street.
