Wine on the Waterfront, the annual fundraiser supporting Washington Crossing Historic Park, is set to return for its eighth year on Saturday, July 26, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The event is hosted by the Friends of Washington Crossing Park and will take place at 1112 River Road in Upper Makefield Township.

The event for adults 21 and older will feature wine samples from numerous local vineyards, food options, and live jazz music. General admission tickets include a complimentary wine glass and one-ounce wine samples.

Tickets are $17.76 for designated drivers and $45 for general admission, with all proceeds directly benefiting the park’s programming and preservation efforts. Click here to buy tickets.

Participating vineyards include returning favorites such as Bishop Estate, Crossing Vineyards, Cyrenity Sips, Grace Winery, Mount Bethel Farms, Rebel Hive, Sand Castle and Unionville Vineyards. New additions for 2025 are A’Dello Vineyard & Winery, Blue Mountain Vineyards & Cellars and J & P.

“Wine on the Waterfront is more than just an afternoon of great wine and music—it’s a celebration of community and a vital way to support historical and educational programs at the park,” said Executive Director of the Friends of Washington Crossing Park Jennifer Martin. “Every ticket sold helps preserve the culture, history, and stories that make this place special.”

Attendees will have access to the private event area along the Delaware River waterfront, adjacent to the historic Hibbs House Kitchen Garden, which provides a scenic backdrop of 18th-century flowers, herbs and plants.

Guests are encouraged by organizers to bring blankets, chairs, tents, and umbrellas to enjoy food brought from home or purchased from onsite vendors.

For the first time, cocktails and slushies will be available for purchase.

Additionally, wine will be sold by the glass, bottle and case for onsite enjoyment or to take home.

Returning food vendors include Goodnoe Farm Ice Cream and Local Harvest Pizza, with Brenner Board Bliss and Pretty Bird Coffee making their debut.

Live jazz music will be provided by the Keith Chasin Trio, a frequent performer at the park, joined by special guest vocalist and saxophonist Ravi Seenarine.

Washington Crossing Historic Park covers 500 acres across Upper Makefield and Solebury townships and preserves the site of George Washington’s 1776 Christmas night crossing of the Delaware River.
