New Hope Celebrates has announced Grammy-nominated singer Deborah Cox will headline this year’s PrideFest, which is scheduled for May 16 through May 18.
The event’s theme is “Together, We Rise! – Defying Fear, Embracing Hope,” organizers said.

Cox, a Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee known for her R&B hits such as “Nobody’s Supposed To Be Here,” will perform at PrideFest Live!, an open-air concert within the Pride Fair at Pride Park, located at New Street and South Main Street in the American Legion Parking Lot in New Hope Borough.
New Hope Celebrates also introduced its 2025 Pride Pageant winners: Miss New Hope Celebrates Asia Leigh Monroe and Mr. New Hope Celebrates Ricky Suave. Monroe is a Philadelphia-based drag queen and trans advocate, while Suave is a Latin drag king from Puerto Rico.
The annual Pride Parade is set for Saturday, May 17 at 11 a.m. It will start in the City of Lambertville and march into New Hope Borough.
This year’s Pride Parade grand marshals will be Josh Sanders and Jim Donovan from CBS News Philadelphia. Sanders is a journalist and LGBTQ+ advocate, and Donovan is a 15-time Emmy Award-winning anchor. They will be filming in New Hope Borough for an upcoming CBS Pride special, “The Heart of Pride,” which will commemorate the 10th anniversary of marriage equality in America.
