Crash
Officers responded to a traffic accident in the McDonald’s parking lot. No injuries were reported.
March 25
Harassment
A victim reported being harassed by a passing motorist around West Mechanic Street.
Dispute
Officers assisted a resident with a civil dispute on West Bridge Street.
March 26
Assault
A victim reported being assaulted in the area of West Ferry Street and Stockton Avenue. The offender has been charged.
March 27
Possession Of Marijuana
Officers conducted a traffic stop on West Bridge Street for a traffic violation. The driver was found to be in possession of marijuana, was charged by summons.
Disturbance
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the unit block of West Ferry Street.
Noise Complaint
A noise complaint was reported in the area of 11-20 West Ferry Street.
March 28
Forgery
A noise complaint was reported on West Bridge Street. Police took a report of forgery. The crime was determined to have occurred outside the jurisdiction of the New Hope Borough Police Department and was referred to the appropriate agency.
Civil Complaint
Officers investigated a civil complaint on North Main Street.
Crash
Officers investigated a traffic accident at North Main Street and Bridge Street. No injuries were reported.
March 29
Disturbance
Officers investigated a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of South Main Street.
DUI
A driver was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol on West Ferry Street.
Trespasser
Officers responded to reports of juveniles on the railroad tracks in the area of West Ferry Street.
Disturbance
Officers responded to a disturbance at Riverhill.
March 31
Disorderly Conduct
Officers responded to a report of a disorderly individual at Magikava on South Main Street. The situation was resolved without further incident.
Helicopter Sighting
A suspicious low-flying helicopter was reported near the area of the New Hope-Solebury High School. Officers investigated and determined it was a PECO helicopter conducting routine inspections of local power lines.
Harassment
Officers responded to a residence on East Ferry Street for a report of harassment. The matter is under investigation.
April 1
Suspected Drugs
Officers were dispatched to meet with a business owner on West Mechanic Street who discovered suspected narcotics on the sidewalk near their establishment. The substance was secured by police and removed from the area for proper disposal and further analysis.
April 2
Unsecured Business
While conducting routine business checks on West Mechanic Street, officers discovered an unsecured business. Officers entered and inspected the premises; finding no signs of criminal activity, they were able to secure the building.
April 3
Unsecured Business
During business checks on West Bridge Street, officers located another unsecured business. A sweep of the interior revealed no irregularities, and officers secured the premises.
Disturbance
Officers responded to a reported disturbance at Riverhill. The situation was investigated and resolved on scene.
April 6
DUI
Officers conducted a traffic stop on West Ferry Street for a moving violation. Upon investigation, the driver was found to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. The driver was taken into custody and processed accordingly.
