A sprawling estate in Upper Bucks County with an underground “survival bunker” is set to hit the auction block.

The 15,000-square-foot a luxury Italianate-style home off Cafferty Road in the Pipersville section of Tinicum Township boasts stunning views of the Delaware River.

The auction is held by The Black Group and Elite Auctions.

Situated on an 11-acre cliffside property, the estate includes six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a guest house, a heated pool, and an outdoor kitchen. Additional amenities feature heated garages with a vehicle lift, a bar, and a fully equipped home gym, according to the listing.

A property has an underground bunker designed for long-term survival. The bunker includes dual air filtration systems, shock wave protection, a secure vault, and is monitored by over 30 security cameras. The self-sustaining estate also benefits from a private water treatment system sourced from three deep wells and a powerful generator that guarantees an uninterrupted power supply, according to Lux Expose.

“254 and 256 Cafferty Road offers buyers the opportunity to own a private estate with sweeping views of the Delaware River in one of Bucks County’s most sought-after locations,” Randy Haddaway, founder and chief executive of Elite Auctions, told WFMZ.

The auction is scheduled for 11 a.m. on April 29, with registration beginning at 9 a.m. the same day. Elite Auctions is welcoming brokers to participate and will accept bids via phone.

The action is being held without reserve, which means the highest bidder will claim the property.

“This Bucks County estate is not just a home but a legacy, offering a living experience crafted with precision and care,” according to the real estate listing.

The property has been in the hands of the same family since the late 1990s and was recently transferred to a trust, according to county records. The longtime owner is a dentist who also ran a health care firm working with companies and government agencies.
