Police Log: Intoxicated Person Enters Wrong Home, Officer Assaulted & More

March 4

Theft

At approximately 9:54 a.m., a resident from North Main Street reported paying a roofing contractor a deposit and the contractor failed to follow through with services. Patrolman Zilliox is the investigating officer.ย ย 

March 6

Trespassing

At approximately 4:41 p.m., a business on Mt. Hope Street reported a person trespassing.ย  The individual was told to leave and advised they are no longer welcome on the property.ย  DCpl Bast is the investigating officer.ย 

March 7

Theft

At approximately 8 a.m., a resident on Brunswick Avenue reported several pieces of jewelry missing from inside of their residence.ย  DCpl Bast is the investigating officer.ย 

March 10

Theft

At approximately 7:52 a.m., patrol responded to a business on Bridge Street for a theft.ย  Patrolman Zilliox is the investigating officer.ย

Harassment

At approximately 8:49 p.m., a resident on Brunswick Avenue reported ongoing harassment from their neighbor.ย  Detective Albani investigated.ย 

March 22

Attempted Fraud

At approximately 12:07 p.m., a resident on Delevan Street reported receiving a suspicious phone call from someone saying her son was in a car accident and requested money to bail him out of jail. It was determined the phone call was a scam and contact with the son was eventually made. Sergeant Gramlich investigated.ย 

Unwanted Person

At approximately 4:54 p.m., a business on South Union Street reported an unwanted person on the premise. Detective Albani is the investigating officer.ย 

March 24

Assault On Officer

At approximately 1:27 p.m., a 24-year-old Lambertville man was arrested and charged with defiant trespass, assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct resisting arrest, and refusal to submit to fingerprinting. He was transported to the Hunterdon County Sheriffโ€™s Department where he was lodged in the Warrant County Jail. DCpl Bast and Patrolman Lugo investigated.ย 

March 25

Burglary

At approximately 9:57 a.m., a resident on Jefferson Street reported a possible burglary to their home. DCpl Bast is the investigating officer.ย 

Fraud

At approximately 11:32 a.m., a resident on York Street reported online credit card fraud.ย  DCpl Bast is the investigating officer.ย 

March 26

Fraud

At approximately 12:09 p.m., a resident on Clinton Street reported receiving several EZ pass violations from fraudulent use of their temporary vehicle registration. Detective Albani is the investigating officer.ย 

Theft From Vehicle

At approximately 3:26 p.m., a resident on Delaware Avenue reported their license plate was missing from their vehicle. Detective Albani is the investigating officer.ย 

Dispute

At approximately 9:43 p.m., patrols were detailed to a residence on Bridge Street for loud yelling. It was determined to be a family dispute that was quickly de-escalated and resolved without incident. Patrolman Zilliox was the investigating officer.ย ย 

March 28

Assault

At approximately 2:40 p.m., patrols responded to a residence on Church Street for a report of a 911 hang up. Further investigation revealed an assault had occurred. Detective Albani and Patrolman Brown are the investigating officers.ย

At approximately 6:53 p.m., patrols responded to a residence on Brunswick Avenue for an assault. Patrolman Zilliox is the investigating officer.ย 

March 30

Breaking & Entering

At approximately 11:17 p.m., patrol responded to a business on Bridge Street for a possible breaking and entering that was just discovered. Patrolman Bereheiko is the investigating officer.ย 

March 31

Intoxicated Subject

At approximately 8:09 p.m., patrol responded to a residence on South Main Street for an intoxicated subject who walked inside through an unlocked door. The subject had left without incident prior to patrolโ€™s arrival. Sergeant Gramlich is the investigating officer.
